Tamboli Castings Limited elevates its ESG standing with EcoVadis Bronze Medal recognition
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles have reshaped the way global manufacturing is evaluated. What began as a reporting framework has evolved into a decisive benchmark for supply chain selection, investor confidence, regulatory alignment, and long-term resilience. Today, global OEMs and institutional stakeholders expect measurable environmental stewardship, ethical governance, responsible sourcing, and transparent operational controls.
For precision engineering companies operating in export-driven ecosystems, ESG performance is increasingly intertwined with business continuity and competitiveness.
At Tamboli Castings Limited, ESG has not been engineered into operations from early on. As early as 2008, TCL implemented an ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management System. Over the years, we strengthened this foundation through CO2 verification under ISO 14064-1, investment in a ~1 MW captive solar power plant to enhance renewable energy integration, and the adoption of IoT-enabled monitoring and SCADA-based process optimization. Advanced simulation and 3D printing technologies further support material efficiency and waste reduction.
In recognition of our ESG efforts, in 2025, TCL was recognized with the EcoVadis Commitment Badge. Following a more comprehensive assessment of our policies, actions, and measurable outcomes, we have now progressed to the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, placing us among the Top 35% of companies evaluated globally.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most respected sustainability rating platforms, assessing companies across four pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Its methodology emphasizes evidence-backed performance and continuous improvement.
For our global customers, this advancement strengthens supply-chain confidence. It signals structured governance, operational transparency, and ESG alignment in an increasingly accountability-driven marketplace.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to advancing environmental performance, strengthening social responsibility frameworks, and integrating sustainability deeper into our manufacturing ecosystem.
Here’s to many more milestones in the journey of responsible progress through responsible precision.
